Project Overview

The Project

A&M Swindon branch was contacted directly by an Energy Retailer to survey a property, to potentially install Cavity Wall Insulation.

What was done?

We carried out our own survey of the property to confirm the suitability of the property for Cavity Wall Insulation.

A convenient appointment time was arranged with the customer and an experienced 2 man team was sent to carry out the work. Energy Store bead insulation was used at this property.

100% of the property was installed with the insulation. Any drilled holes were filled and painted to match the render of the customers property post installation.

Challenges faced

The suggested location of the air vent to be fitted by A&M was not to the satisfaction of the customer. The installers worked with the client to find an alternative position which was both not in direct eyesight but followed the correct guidelines.

Project successes

The customer was very happy with the end result and provided the following feedback:

They worked professionally and the work that was carried out on the day was completed to a very high standard. The boys along the job cleaned up as and when needed. They answered all of the questions which my husband and I had. A vent was required in our property and the boys were very helpful with providing alternative suggestions of where to place the vent but still following the correct procedure.

We would highly recommend the team as they were very helpful from the start. From Allan carrying out the survey, to booking in a date for the install over the phone with Caroline, right through to the end with Daniel & Luke for the amazing job they did at installation. The Branch Manager Rachel & Installation Manager Steven were also there on the day to ensure that we were happy with the work and inspecting the job which was a great peace of mind.

Your men turned up nice and early. They explained everything, gave the H&S notice and door signs. They were pleasant, and very quick and efficient in doing the job, and the house was left clean.
